The aircraft was in China to airlift Federal Government’s Coronavirus medical supplies and personnel.
The plane has returned to Abuja after another 15-hour flight from China.
Nigeria’s biggest airline, Air Peace, on Tuesday made another history after its Boeing 777-200ER (P4 5-NBVE) aircraft made a 14-hour non-stop flight to Beijing, China.
According to the carrier, this is the first time a Nigerian airline would be doing a direct non-stop 14-Hour flight to the Asian Country.
The Nigerian carrier made the nonstop trip to China to airlift the Federal Government’s medical supplies for the fight against COVID-19.
“Another history is made today, April 7, 2020 as this satellite Image shows Air Peace Boeing 777-200ER (P4 5N-BVE) that landed in Beijing; China at 14:18pm for the airlift of FG’s medical supplies for the fight against COVID-19.”
The Air Peace aircraft has returned back to Abuja with the second batch of medical supplies and Chinese personnel in the vigorous fight against the Coronavirus pandemic
The Air Peace plane landed at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja at 4. 30pm on Wednesday after another 15-Hour non-stop flight from China.
Recall that Air Peace last week delivered the first batch of the Federal Government’s medical supplies from turkey.
The medical supplies is part of FG efforts to fight the spread of coronavirus pandemic. Some of these supplies will be used to treat those that are already infected by the disease.
Currently, Air Peace uses the majority of its aircraft fleet for domestic flights. But the carrier has plans to increase the number of intercontinental routes it currently operates.
