2022 EQB is an electric Mercedes-Benz GLB-Class Crossover SUV that drives 419 Km when fully charged.
It will be available in two variants: the 225-hp EQB300 4Matic and the 288-hp EQB350 4Matic, when it goes on sale in 2022.
A maximum charging speed of 110 kW means it will only take just 31 minutes to charge a nearly depleted battery from 10 to 80 percent.
When it arrives in the market in 2022, it will rival the Audi Q4 E-Tron, Tesla Model Y and Volkswagen ID.4.
Mercedes-Benz on Sunday, at the IAA Mobility 2021 in Munich, Germany, presented several electric versions of its fast-selling petrol and diesel powered vehicles, including the EQB Crossover SUV.
First shown at the Chinese Auto Shanghai 2021 in April, the Mercedes-Benz EQB, one of several latest model joining the automaker’s growing list of electric vehicles, slots between the EQA and the EQC.
Just like the EQA, which is the EV version of the GLA, the EQB is essentially an electric version of the gas-powered Mercedes GLB-Class that is already on sale in several markets.

Both trims are powered by a 66.5-kilowatt-hour battery and two electric motors, allowing a drive range of up to 419 km (260 miles) on full charge. A maximum charging speed of 110 kW means it will only take just 31 minutes to charge a nearly depleted battery from 10 to 80 percent.
Inside, the EQB is offered in seating for up to seven passengers and a dashboard that is dominated by a widescreen MBUX infotainment display with augmented-reality navigation. The touchscreen features twin 10.25-inch displays for the dash panel and the main screen.
Pricing for the EQB hasn’t been revealed yet, but when it arrives in the market in 2022, it will rival the Audi Q4 E-Tron, Tesla Model Y and Volkswagen ID.4, according to Mercedes-Benz.
