Lamborghini Delivered 8,405 Cars In 2021, Its Best Sales Ever, Thanks To ₦200 Million Urus SUV

Lamborghini delivered 8,405 cars in 2021, its best Sales ever, thanks to ₦200 million Urus SUV.
Again, the Urus Super SUV is the most in-demand model with 5,021 units delivered.
This is followed by the V10-powered Huracán (2,586) and the V12 Aventador (798) delivered.
Automobili Lamborghini has announced it delivered a total of 8,405 cars to customers worldwide in 2021, up 13% compared to the same period in 2020, marking its best results since the Italian automaker was founded by Ferruccio Lamborghini back in 1963.
Last year’s result brought a double-digit growth in all three of Lamborghini’s macro-markets, including the America (+14 %), Asia Pacific (+14%), and the EMEA region (Europe, the Middle East, and Africa) (+12%).
Again, the 641-horsepower Urus Super SUV, which starts at $210,000, is the most in-demand model with 5,021 units delivered. This is followed by the V10-powered Huracán, with 2,586 units delivered, and the V12 Aventador, with 798 units delivered.
The all-time record came after a challenging two-year period for all industries, marking Lamborghini’s ability to thrive even during difficult times.
“This record has provided confirmation of three things for us: the solidity of our strategic plan, our brand’s outstanding international reputation, and the exceptional professionalism and hard work shown by our dealers, who have continued to invest alongside us at a challenging, uncertain time,” says Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini.
2022 also looks promising for the brand, with a substantial order portfolio already covering almost the entire production planned for the year.
