Hennessey Transforms The Cadillac Escalade Into A 650Hp Supercharged Brute

Hennessey has released a comprehensive new performance upgrade package for the Cadillac Escalade by transforming the 6.2-liter V8 takes power from the mild 420 bhp factory rating to a wild 650 bhp – entirely transforming the acceleration and driving dynamics of the full-size SUV.
Called the “H650” upgrade, the kit includes a 2.9L supercharger, an intercooler, upgraded pushrods, an enhanced engine management, and a stainless steel cat-back exhaust system. As a result of this added power, the sprint from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) takes 5.3 seconds, which is 0.8 seconds faster than stock, but 0.9 seconds slower than the V.
The company also enhanced the engine management software and added crankcase ventilation, leaving the suspension, drive, and all-wheel-drive modes unaltered. “Our team is very excited about this supercharging development for GM’s 6.2-liter V8, as it offers a huge audience of GM SÚV owners the ability to bump power by an impressive 230 horsepower – that’s a 55 percent increase in power. Additionally, the improved torque increases drivability at all speeds and enhances towing. The H650 upgrade literally transforms sedate family SÚVs into performance vehicles.’ said company founder and CEO John Hennessey.
Hennessey is also offering the upgrades to other GM large SUVs like the Chevrolet Tahoe/Suburban and the GMC Yukon with a costing fee of $27,950, excluding the cost of the SUV. It’s available with a three-year, 36,000-mile warranty from the aftermarket specialist, and each example receives a serial-numbered engine plaque. Each vehicle undergoes a final performance assessment that tests it on the track and dyno before Hennessey delivers it to the customer.
