Mercedes driver was trying to overtake the conveyance truck in front but ended up crashing with the vehicle.

A Mercedes-Benz driver narrowly
escape injuries after two heavy-duty electric poles on a truck crashed through the passenger side of his GLE 320 SUV in China.
Fortunately, no one was sitting on the passenger’s seat when the poles on the truck went through the SUV. The unharmed driver rushed out of the car immediately after the crash.

Footage of the before and after crash was captured by the dashboard from a car behind the Mercedes-Benz G-Class mid-size luxury SUV.
The video showed that the Mercedes driver was trying to overtake the conveyance truck in front but ended up crashing with the vehicle.


While the driver escaped unhurt, the same cannot be said for his Mercedes-Benz GLE 320 which had both the front and rear windshield smashed and bonnet crumpled during the crash.
The video highlights the dangers associated with tailgating, especially when the vehicle at the front is transporting materials projecting more than 1.8 metres (about 6 feet) beyond the rear.
