Moment Lucky Aiyedatiwa Arrives For His Swearing-in Ceremony As Ondo State Governor

Footage shared shows the moment Lucky Aiyedatiwa arrived for his swearing-in as governor of Ondo State.

The Ondo State acting governor took Oath of Office today, following the death of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

For today’s swearing-in ceremony, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa used an armored Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV.

But the new Governor of Ondo State may opt for Nigerian Governor’s favourite ride, a Lexus LX 600, later on.

Aiyedatiwa’s predecessor used a bulletproof Lexus LX 570 SUV during his time as the Governor of Ondo State.

Earlier on Wednesday (today), the Ondo State acting governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, took Oath of Office as the Governor of Ondo State, following the death of Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu.

A footage shared shows the moment Lucky Aiyedatiwa arrived Government House, in Akure, for his swearing-in as substantive governor of Ondo State.

Moment Acting Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa arrived for his swearing-in as governor of Ondo State.

Governor Aiyedatiwa, who described the death of Rotimi Akeredolu as unfortunate, promised to continue with his projects and policies.

“We Shall Always Place The People First In Every Decision We Take,” Aiyedatiwa said during the ceremony.

“I want to assure the people of Ondo state that under my watch, this administration shall continue to advance the welfare of the people.”

For today’s swearing-in ceremony, Lucky Aiyedatiwa used an armored Mercedes-Benz G-Class SUV, though he may opt for Nigerian Governor’s favourite ride, a Lexus LX 600, later on.
