Watch Auto Technicians Disassemble A 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class To Sell Its Parts

Watch auto technicians disassemble a 2015 Mercedes-Benz S-Class (S500) ultra-luxury sedan to sell its parts.
Task includes removal of the 4.0-litre V8 engine and precision-cut of the roof and and the front end into modular pieces.
After over 4,300 man hours, all the parts of the S-Class were kept on a shelf, ready to start another life on another vehicle.
Infiniti performed a similar task recently by disassembling the 2025 Infiniti QX80 into thousands of pieces to get it above 100-story tower.
Unlike this S500, the QX80 was reassembled at the 100-story tower, where it made its first public debut on March 20th.
Not all cars stripped for highly valuable parts met their untimely ends in a crash, just like this neatly used 2015 model Mercedes-Benz S-Class (S500) ultra-luxury sedan shown in the video.
In the footage shared, technicians can be seen disassembling the Mercedes-Benz S-Class for auto parts, a task that would have taken them over 4,300 man hours to complete.
As seen in the video, the disassembly included the removal of the 4.0-litre V8 engine and the bonnet as well as the precision-cut of the roof and the front end into modular pieces.
After many hours of methodical stripping for parts, all the components of the Mercedes S-Class, including the four doors, cut-away front end and the engine, were later kept on a shelf, ready to start another life on another vehicle.
Autojosh recently shared a video showing a similar task, which involves the disassembly of the all-new 2025 Infiniti QX80 ultra-luxury SUV into thousands of pieces to get it above 100-story tower.
Unlike this Mercedes-Benz stripped down for parts, the Infiniti QX80 SUV was later reassembled at the 1,100-foot-tall outdoor observation deck, where it made its first public debut on March 20th.
