Family of ALPINA founder unveil coach-built ‘Bovensiepen Zagato’, A Gran Turismo based on the BMW M4.
The first model under the Bovensiepen name masterfully combines Bavarian engineering with unmistakable Italian design.
Boasting over 400 precision parts, each of the coach-built Bovensiepen Zagato took over 250 working hours to hand-build by experts.

Bovensiepen, a company founded by the sons of the late ALPINA founder, Burkard Bovensiepen, has unveiled all-new bespoke Bovensiepen Zagato, its first-ever car based on the BMW M4 Convertible (G83) facelift launched last year.
The Gran Tourer, the first model under the Bovensiepen name, masterfully combines unquestionable Bavarian engineering with unmistakable Italian design.

Boasting over 400 precision parts, each of the coach-built Zagato took over 250 working hours to hand-build by experts with decades of experience and a passion for manual craftsmanship.
“It is exciting to carry on the tradition of designing the first car for a newly born brand. This project with the Bovensiepen family is particularly special, as it continues our legacy blending our DNA WITH theirs for its very first creation,” said Andrea Zagato, the CEO of Zagato.

On the outside, the Bovensiepen Zagato boasts the ‘Bovensiepen’ lettering at the front and rear, Bilstein dampers, an Akrapovic titanium exhaust system and rides on bespoke 20-inch forged wheels. But the most striking feature on the outside is the so-called “Double Bubble” roof.
Inside, it is optionally available with a full Lavalina leather interior. Via the Bovensiepen Bespoke program, the leather can be combined with Alcantara, which is available in 45 additional colours and harmonizes particularly well with Lavalina.

Powering the Bovensiepen Zagato is a 3.0 litre in-line six-cylinder engine, which generates an output of 611 hp and a maximum torque of 700 Nm, and allows it to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (100 km/h) in 3.3 seconds and reach a top speed beyond 186 mph (300 km/h).
“Our cars are made for enthusiasts who appreciate the perfect fusion of engineering and design. We remain committed to creating emotional, exclusive vehicles that true connoisseurs dream of,” Andreas Bovensiepen, Owner/CEO of Bovensiepen.
