Lexus Had A Fine 2025 As They Recorded Fantastic Sales
Toyota’s luxury division reported record sales last year. Lexus deliveries rose four percent in 2025 to 882,231 units.
North America was by far the largest region, with 408,070 units, or 7.5 percent more.
Lexus grew in virtually all major markets except Europe, where sales fell 2.3 percent to 80,686 vehicles. In percentage terms, Africa saw the strongest growth in 2025, with sales up 18.8 percent to 1,485 units. Central and South America also saw solid growth of 13.8 percent year-on-year to 4,684 vehicles.
Electrification played a key role, with electrified vehicles accounting for more than half of total sales. Hybrids, plug-in hybrids, and all-electric models reached a record 52 percent share. Demand for electric vehicles more than doubled, jumping 119 percent, driven primarily by the RZ and UX300e models.
Lexus also says the LBX small crossover and LM minivan were popular last year, as were models like the RX and NX.
Incidentally, Toyota once again retained its top spot in global car sales last year. Specifically, Toyota (including Lexus, Daihatsu, and Hino) sold 11,322,575 cars worldwide in 2025, an increase of 4.6 percent compared to 2024.
