Last June, Tesla recalled about 11,000 Cybertrucks due to issues with windshield wipers and cargo bed components that may not have been properly secured. At the time, that was the majority of Cybertrucks sold in the U.S. Tesla recalled nearly 3,900 units in April to repair or replace gas pedals.
Tesla delivered the first Cybertrucks to customers in late November, after two years of delays and production issues. But the cars haven’t sold as well as hoped, and the automaker has had to slash prices to boost sales. Cybertruck owners have also complained about rust on their cars. The panels of the Cybertruck are made of stainless steel. However several people have quickly noticed corrosion on their vehicles after driving in the rain.
