The Dartz Prombron The Dictator Aladeen Edition MMXXII was unveiled to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Dictator — the three Aladeen Editions made for the 2012 film The Dictator.
DARTZ says it will offer just 10 Aladeens to lucky customers, though the company notes that it will build more if customers want them.
Inside, it has extremely lavish décor, including buttons fabricated from genuine gold and instrument clusters, that are traditional analogue gauges. Dartz’s spokesperson makes it abundantly clear that there is no place for digital screens here, stating: ‘f*ck LCD’.
Base cars features fingerprint-operated safe to keep your hand gun and storage for your expensive cigars. Optional features includes a safe to keep an AK47 machine gun, custom bulletproof helmet and a compartment for a sword.
Powering this unique gold-plated SUV is the 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine from the £170k Mercedes Maybach GLS limousine it is based on, though tuned to develop a massive 800bhp.
Dartz claims that the completely redesigned GLS 600-based SUV can accelerate from a standstill to 62mph in 3.8 seconds and has a top speed of 174mph.
Prices for the limited-edition bulletproof SUV fitted with carbon-kevlar body panels and ‘BR2’ grade bullet-resistant glass start from £660,000 ($741,000).
But you can add £265,000 ($297,000) to upgrade yours to ‘STANAG’ Level 2 protection to allow it to withstand grenade attacks and mine explosions, taking the price to £900,000 ($1.008 million).
