BMW Group Sold 1.2 Million BMW, Rolls-Royce And MINI Vehicles Between January And June 2004
BMW Group delivered 1.2 Million (1,213,359) BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles between January and June 2004.
BMW brand sales reached 1,096,486 units (+2.3%) while BMW M sold a total of 99,517 vehicles sold.
MINI brand delivered 114,054 (-18.7%) vehicles while Rolls-Royce brand sold 2,819 (-11.4%) hand-built luxury vehicles.

The BMW Group has announced that it delivered a total of 1,213,359 BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce vehicles to customers between January and June 2024 – which is a sales growth of -0.1 percent compared to the previous year’s period of 1,214,864 units.
Thanks to double-digit growth for its fully-electric vehicles, the BMW brand delivered 565,553 units (+2.2 percent) in the 2nd Quarter (April to June) and 1,096,486 units (+2.3 percent) between January and June 2024.

The flagship BMW 7 Series achieved a sales growth of +22% in the upper premium segment while the BMW X1 and the BMW 3 Series also saw strong growth compared to the previous year.

“In the first six months of the year, we saw double-digit growth of our fully-electric vehicles and models from the upper premium segment,” said Jochen Goller, member of the Board of Management of BMW AG responsible for Customer, Brands, Sales.
“Despite a challenging market environment, we increased sales for the BMW brand in the first half of the year, thanks to our attractive product portfolio. The strong commitment of our BMW Group employees and our robust global retail network have made a significant contribution in this regard,” said Jochen Goller.

The MINI brand delivered 114,054 (-18.7%) vehicles in the first half-year. With a total of 99,517 vehicles sold, the performance brand, BMW M, recorded a sales growth of +5.1% while the BMW Motorrad handed over 113,072 motorcycles to customers worldwide between January and June.
The Rolls-Royce brand managed to deliver a total of 2,819 (-11.4%) hand-built luxury vehicles to customers worldwide during the same period. But the highlight for the British luxury marque was the launch of the new variant of its best-selling model, the Cullinan Series II.
