A BRT bus with 45 passengers on-board catches fire at Idiroko area of Lagos State.
Fortunately, all on board passengers reportedly escaped unhurt
The razed bus was a rescued bus used in evacuating stranded passengers from a broken down bus.
Primero, operator of Lagos BRT said it is currently investigating the cause of the fire.

A loaded BRT bus belonging to the Primero Transport Services Ltd was involved in a lone fire incident at Idiroko inwards Maryland this morning.
According to reports, the BRT bus was conveying 45 passengers from Ikorodu terminal en route TBS terminal, in lagos Island, when the incident happened.
Fortunately, all on board passengers reportedly escaped unhurt during the scary incident that occurred at about 11am in the morning.
According to reports, the razed bus was a rescued bus. It was used in evacuating stranded passengers from a broken down bus.

The initial bus took off from Ikorodu but broke down at Owode which made the burnt bus to come to the aid of the passengers.
Primero, the operator of Lagos Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), in a statement, said it is currently investigating the cause of the fire within the organization.
It added the “Operations continue across various bus shelters as we ensure the highest safety measures are implemented”.
“We can confirm that there were no injuries sustained by passengers.”
