Chinese President Review Troops From The Roof Of Hongqi Limousine During 80th Victory Day Parade
Chinese President Xi inspected thousands of troops from the roof of his Hongqi L5 limousine during 80th Victory Day parade.
In attendance at the parade were more 20 than foreign leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un.
The Hongqi L5 boasts bug-eyed headlights, huge retro front grille and the prominent red flag hood ornament.
People’s Republic of China (PRC) on Wednesday September 3rd 2025 held a massive military parade in central Beijing to mark the 80th anniversary of its victory against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War.
In attendance were more than 20 foreign leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un, who stood beside Chinese President Xi Jinping as he delivered a speech to highlight the significance of the victory 80 years ago.

Xi’s speech was followed by the countries biggest ever military parade that also saw the unveiling of China’s newest fighter jets, missiles and drones prominently displayed on the backs of flatbed military trucks.
In addition, Xi, standing through the sunroof of an official Hongqi L5 limousine, also reviewed the thousands of waiting troops during the military parade at Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
The retro styled luxury Hongqi (Red Flag) L5 limousine which President Xi Jinping rode in to inspect the military parade is a symbol of national pride in China in its own right.
Built by Hongqi (Red Flag), the L5 boasts several distinct features, including a bug-eyed headlights, huge retro front grille and the prominent red flag hood ornament that symbolizes China’s flag and political history.
