Facelifted G-Class SUV revealed : Meet the all-new 2025 Mercedes-Benz G550, Mercedes-AMG G63.
Pricing hasn’t been reveal, though the current G550 and G63 models are priced $143,000 and $179,000, respectively.
The 2025 Mercedes-Benz G550 and the Mercedes-AMG G63 will arrive at dealerships in second half of 2024.
German automaker Mercedes-Benz has finally taken the wraps off the all-new facelifted 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Class (G550) and the high-performance G63 variant, following several teasers photos and videos as well as spy shots.
On the outside, the latest 2025 model year Mercedes-Benz G-Class variants retains its iconic boxy design, though both models now spots a more streamlined design for increased performance and reduced fuel consumption.
New on the G-Class is a radiator grille with four horizontal louvers as well as new front and rear bumpers – the former with a new air inlet grille design with a rounded square pattern. It comes standard with 19-inch wheels, but customers can choose from 18- and 20-inch designs.
In comparison, the G63 comes with a AMG-specific bumper with three vertical louvers in front of the air inlets, as well as stainless-steel inserts. It also features a standard adaptive MULTIBEAM LED headlights and an AMG crest on the hood.
Customers can choose different wheel options, sized between 20 and 22 inches, while an all-new MANUFAKTUR hyper blue magno exterior colour is available exclusively on the top-end G63.
Inside, all variants gets the MBUX (Mercedes-Benz User Experience) infotainment system with 12.3-inch driver display and 12.3-inch central multimedia display with touch control. Smartphone integration connects to the MBUX infotainment via Android Auto Wireless or Apple CarPlay.
Standard features include wireless device chargers, Keyless-Go, climate-controlled cup holders, Burmester 3D Surround Sound System as well as optional MBUX High-End Rear-Seat Entertainment System.
The all-new Mercedes-Benz G 550 is powered by a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with turbocharging, which puts out 443 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque.
The new G63 gets a handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 biturbo engine, which produces 577 hp and 627 lb-ft of torque, allowing a 0-60 mph in just 4.2 seconds, on the way to an electronically limited 137 mph top speed.
Mercedes-Benz hasn’t reveal the pricing for the updated 2025 G550 and G63, though the current base models are priced $143,000 and $179,000, respectively. The 2025 G550 and the Mercedes-AMG G63 will arrive at dealerships in second half of 2024.
