Ferrari Raises Profit Forecast Due To F80 And Purosangue Results
Ferrari has raised its profit forecast for the full year of 2026, after the Italian sports car manufacturer performed better than expected in the second quarter. The strong results are mainly due to high demand for exclusive models, such as the top-of-the-range F80 and a more expensive version of the Purosangue.
The group now expects an operating profit of at least 3 billion euros this year, slightly more than previously predicted. In the second quarter, that profit came in at 755 million euros, well above analysts’ expectations.
The figures show that Ferrari is earning increasingly more from exclusive models built in very limited runs. Although Ferrari delivered somewhat fewer cars in recent months, profits still rose due to the high prices of its exclusive vehicles. This also gave Ferrari the financial leeway for the introduction of the Luce, the first fully electric Ferrari.
The current model range consists primarily of cars in the absolute top segment. For instance, the F80, a hybrid supercar with 1,200 hp, costs approximately 3.6 million euros. Only 799 examples of this model are being built, meaning that even a limited number of deliveries has a major impact on revenue and profit.
The Purosangue, Ferrari’s four-door SUV, also fetches a higher price. A new, sportier version presented in April offers additional personalization options, causing customers to pay even more. This means customers can fully customize their car to their own taste, for example with special colors, materials, finishes, and extra options.
With this strategy—building a few cars, creating long waiting lists, and offering increasingly exclusive versions—Ferrari has been among the most profitable car manufacturers in the world for years.
