First In Nigeria : V12-powered Ferrari 12Cilindri Worth N1.5B Rolls Into Lagos-based Dealership Showroom

Inspired by the Ferrari Gran Turismo cars of the 1950s and ‘60s, the 12Cilindri is available in Coupe and Spider versions.

Power comes from a mid-front-mounted, 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine (code-named the F140HD).

Ferrari 12Cilindri Coupe can hit 62 mph in 2.9 seconds and while the Convertible will do this in 2.95 seconds.

Both versions of the Maranello’s new two-seater berlinetta have a top-speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).

A Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider (Convertible) sports car said to be the first-ever in Nigeria and worth over N1.5 billion has arrived Polanco Exotic Cars’ massive showroom located at Lekki Phase 1 area of the state.

Known for shipping the some of the rarest sports cars on the Nigerian roads, the Lagos-based car dealer is the go-to dealer for Nigerian music stars, including Burna Boy and Wizkid.

First unveiled in May 2024, the 12Cilindri (Italian for “12 cylinders” and pronounced dodi-chi chilin-dri) is available in both closed-roof (Coupe) and convertible (Spider) versions.

Inspired by the Ferrari Gran Turismo cars of the 1950s and ‘60s, the Maranello’s new two-seater berlinetta is the successor to the now discontinued 812 Superfast.

Inside, the 12Cilindri gets a central 10.25” touchscreen capacitive display within reach of both driver and passenger, a massive 15.6-inch driver display and an 8.8-inch display on the the passenger side that ensures they feel like a genuine co-driver.

Powering the 12Cilindri is a mid-front-mounted, 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12 engine (code-named the F140HD), which puts out 819 horsepower at 9,250 rpm and 500 pound-feet of torque at 7,250 rpm.

Ferrari says that the 12Cilindri Coupe can hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.9 seconds while the Convertible will do this in 2.95 seconds. Both versions have a top-speed of 340 km/h (211 mph).

The Coupe starts at $423,000 and $466,000 for the Convertible. Both versions will cost over N1 billion each to own in Nigeria. Earlier in the month, Ferrari said sales last year was helped by deliveries of the 12Cilindri.
