Honda HR-V Crossover SUV wins Car-of-the-Year at the Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) awards.
Nigerian-built Honda HR-V defeated the Suzuki S-Presso and Geely Coolray to win the most coveted prize.
The latest-gen all-new Honda HR-V was introduced in Nigeria by Honda Automobile Western Africa Ltd (HAWA).
Nigerian-built 2023 Honda HR-V Crossover is the brand’s smallest SUV and the its most affordable vehicle.
HR-V Subcompact Crossover is positioned below Honda’s larger SUVs, including the CR-V, Pilot and Passport.
The Honda HR-V Crossover SUV was voted the Car-of-the-Year at this year’s 2023 Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) Awards, which was held in Lagos on Thursday December 14th 2023.
The Nigerian-built Honda HR-V subcompact SUV defeated the Suzuki S-Presso and Geely Coolray in a keenly contested race to win the most coveted prize.
Mr Joseph Osanipin, Director General, National Automotive Design and Development (NADDC) handed the award to Mr Remi Adams, the Sales Manager at Honda Automobile Western Africa Limited (H.A.W.A).

Commenting on the award, Adams commended 2023 Nigeria Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) for recognising the brand with the prestigious award.
Introduced in Nigeria by Honda Automobile Western Africa Ltd (HAWA), the 2023 Honda HR-V Crossover is produced in Otta, Ogun State. It is designed with versatility and precision for Nigerian roads.
The tech-filled Honda HR-V Crossover is the brand’s smallest SUV and its most affordable vehicle. It is positioned below Honda’s larger SUVs : the CR-V, Pilot and Passport.
