IGP, Gov. Dapo Abiodun Witness The Launch Of Proforce Eagle 3 Drone Deployed To Fight Crime
The Ogun State Government deploys Proforce Eagle 3, a locally-made cutting-edge drone (UAV), to fight crime.
Inaugural flight of Proforce Eagle 3 witnessed by Inspector General of Police and Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun.
Produced by Proforce Air Systems Limited, Eagle 3 is equipped with surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities.
Proforce-Ogun State partnership began last year with a training program to provide security personnel with skills to operate UAVs.

PROFORCE Limited, a Nigerian-based armored vehicle specialist, recently showcased some of its cutting-edge products to the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun, during his visit to Ogun State.
During his visit to the State, the IGP, alongside Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, also witnessed the inaugural flight of the Proforce Eagle 3, a cutting-edge drone produced by Proforce Air Systems Limited.

The Proforce Eagle 3, an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) equipped with surveillance and reconnaissance capabilities, is now actively deployed by the Ogun State government in its fight against crime, according to Proforce.
“IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, during his visit to Ogun State, alongside Gov Prince Dapo Abiodun, witnessed the inaugural flight of the Proforce Eagle 3!. This cutting-edge drone, by Proforce Air Systems, is now actively deployed by the state government in its fight against crime,” Proforce wrote in a statement.

Governor Dapo Abiodun also said :
“One of the reasons why we took the decision to acquire this drone is because of the Lagos Ibadan Expressway, which remains one of our most vulnerable path.”
“With the deployment of this kind of technology, it will allow for swifter and shorter response time when there is an incident.”

Proforce Air Systems, in partnership with Ogun State, first launched a training program last September to provide security personnel with the vital skills required to operate UAVs with proficiency.
Then, Ogun State Governor emphasized the significance of the first-of-its-kind training program, expressing confidence in its potential to bolster security efforts and combat crime throughout the state.
