As part of efforts to rid of all forms of traffic congestion in the state, the Lagos State Parking Authority (LASPA) has extended its operations across the Ikeja axis, a week after it began the enforcement on indiscriminate parking of vehicles within the State Secretariat in Alausa.

The enforcement exercise was part of efforts by the Lagos State Government to address the challenges of indiscriminate parking, which contributes to traffic congestion and delivers a more parking culture.

The enforcement of illegal parking on the roads implemented by LASPA covered the following locations : Computer Village, Allen Avenue, Mobolaji Bank Anthony Way, GRA Ikeja, White House Event Centre on Billings Way, and other areas in Ikeja.

Photos shared by the agency shows several vehicles clamped by the officials of LASPA for parking offences. LASPA urged all motorists in Lagos to ensure strict compliance with the State Parking Regulations as no part of the State will be left out in the ongoing enforcement.
