Infiniti QX Monograph Concept is a futuristic SUV that previews the upcoming 2025 QX80.
It features a unique lighting system that separates the main headlight assembly and daytime running lights.
QX Monograph is finished in a striking new paint that appears to vary in color based on light and viewing angle.
Nissan’s luxury brand, Infiniti, has revealed the Infiniti QX Monograph Concept at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, a design study that previews the next-generation of the brand’s biggest SUV, the QX80.
The big QX Monograph Concept features a unique lighting system that separates the main headlight assembly and daytime running lights. While the main headlight assembly is positioned within the front bumper, the digital piano key daytime running lights are housed above.
The taillights also feature a smoked finish that illuminates a vibrant shade of red once switched on, which Infiniti said is “meant to replicate the tranquil way that light shimmers on water.”
The concept also feature a huge signature double-arched grille that Infiniti says is meant to resemble a bamboo forest. There is also a new illuminated three-dimensional INFINITI emblem that is mounted in the center of the grille.
“We approach each INFINITI design from the perspective of an artwork, with the aim of evoking emotion and intrigue.
“The QX Monograph presented a sizable canvas for us to explore INFINITI’s artistry at maximum scale and create something bold.” said, Alfonso Albaisa, the Senior Vice President for Global Design, INFINITI.
The QX Monograph is finished in a striking new paint that features a complex, six-layer structure. According to Infiniti, the paint appears to vary in color based on light and viewing angle.
