His latest Hilux joins his Bentley Flying Spur and a Rolls-Royce Ghost he bought to celebrate his Mayegun of Yorubaland title.

Nigerian music star, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal aka “K1 De Ultimate”, has acquired a brand new 2023 Toyota Hilux GR Sport pickup truck to celebrate his installation as the ‘Olori Omo Oba’.

The 66 year old legendary Fuji musician was recently conferred with the chieftaincy title of ‘Olori Omo Oba’ at this year’s Ojude Oba festival in Ijebu Ode, Ogun State.

News of his latest purchase was announced by Lagos-based car dealership, Mide & Dara Motors, who posted a video showing the moment the brand new 2023 Toyota Hilux pickup truck was delivered to Kwam 1.

Mide & Dara Motors captioned the video of the car delivery with.

But Wasiu’s Dakar-inspired pickup isn’t an ordinary Hilux as the ‘GR Sport’ badge not only makes the near-indestructible truck the toughest in the lineup but also the most expensive.

Powering the 2023 Model Toyota Hilux Double Cab GR Sport Pickup is a V6 4.0L petrol engine and 6 Speed Automatic Transmission.

Pickup truck-loving Wasiu has been seen arriving at events while behind the wheels of utility vehicles.
