Innoson Motors To Establish World Class Manufacturing Plant In Uyo

All is now set for Innoson Motors to establish a world class manufacturing plant in Uyo, the capital of Akwa Ibom State.
This was confirmed as the Special Adviser to the President on Niger Delta Affairs and Coordinator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, Brigadier General Paul Boroh, led the Chairman of Innoson Group of Companies, Chief Innocent Chukwuma and some officials to Akwa Ibom State, yesterday.
As part of the State Government’s contribution, the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, His Excellency Mr Emmanuel Udom, pledged 10 Hecters of land to support the project. He immediately instructed the State Commissioner of Lands, Arch Imeh Ekpo, to prepare the C of O, and promised to sign it as early as Friday.
General Boroh, thanked the governor for his support and encouraged the Innoson team to keep believing in the prospects of the Niger Delta Region.
The facility will immediately engage over 1500 youths, which will include beneficiaries of the Presidential Amnesty Programme.
Some dignitaries in attendance included, the Technical Assistant to the Amnesty Boss, Major Abdul Matti (Rtd), the Special Assistant to the President on National Economic Council, Mr Donald Wokoma and the MD CEO of Jamub Global Services, Prince Jacob Momoh
