“It’s a beautiful vehicle” : US President Joe Biden praises Chinese President Xi Jinping’s Hongqi N701 limousine.

Pointing to his Cadillac-based limo, Biden also jokingly asked Xi : “You know what they call that car? They call it ‘The Beast.’”

Xi Jinping’s 18-foot custom-designed Hongqi worth $700k travels to every country the Chinese president is visiting.

The limo is equipped with anti-rocket armor plates, bulletproof windows and systems to protect from biological/chemical weapons. 

Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in United States on Tuesday November 14 ahead of his high-level talks with United States President Joe Biden to discuss major issues affecting world peace and development.

At the end of their summit meeting at San Francisco, California on Wednesday, Xi Jinping showed off his bulletproof Hongqi limousine to president Biden as he was about to depart the venue.

“It’s a beautiful vehicle” : US President Joe Biden praises Chinese President Xi Jinping’s Hongqi N701 limousine.

“It’s a beautiful vehicle”, said President Biden in a video shared, after taking a peek inside the Chinese-made Hongqi vehicle that has been dubbed the ‘Rolls-Royce of China‘.

Speaking on, the US president also talked about his official car, the Cadillac One. Pointing to his Cadillac-based limousine, President Biden also jokingly asked President Xi : “You know what they call that call? They call it ‘The Beast.’”

On arrival at San Francisco International Airport, Xi was warmly welcomed by California Governor Gavin Newsom, before being chauffeured in his Hongqi L5-based vehicle, codename N701.

Xi’s 18-foot custom-designed Hongqi travels to every country the Chinese president is visiting. The $700k limo reportedly comes equipped with anti-rocket armor plates, thick bulletproof windows and systems to protect from biological and chemical weapons.
