Chinese President Xi Jinping Brings His Armored Hongqi Limousine To Russia

Earlier this month, Chinese President Xi Jinping brought his 18-foot armored Hongqi limousine, codenamed N701, to Russia.

Xi’s Hongqi limousine along with an identical decoy were seen sandwiched by Russian-built Aurus Arsenal Minivans.

Arsenal Minivans spotted in Xi’s convoy, alongside the Komendant SUV, Senat L700 Limo and the Senat S600 sedan are part of Aurus’ expanding lineup.

Earlier this month, Chinese President Xi Jinping visited Russia, where he took part in the celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Soviet Union’s Victory over Nazi Germany in the 1941-1945 Great Patriotic War.

During his visit to Moscow, the Xi met with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin at the Kremlin, where the Chinese leader declared that the “mutual trust between China and Russia grows ever deeper, with pragmatic cooperation forging an unbreakable bond”.

Earlier this month, Chinese President Xi Jinping brought his 18-foot armored Hongqi limousine, codenamed N701, to Russia.

Following his official meeting with Putin, Xi was snapped leaving the Kremlin in a convoy of dozens of security cars led by motorcycle outriders along with local Russian-made police vehicles.

In the photos shared, the Chinese Paramount leader’s Hongqi limousine and an identical decoy were seen sandwiched by Russian-built Aurus Arsenal Minivans, with two Mercedes-Benz V-Class’ and an S-Class following behind.

Codenamed N701, Xi Jinping’s 18-foot custom-designed Official State Car reportedly comes equipped with anti-rocket armor plates, thick bulletproof windows and systems to protect from biological and chemical weapons.

The Russian-built Arsenal Minivans spotted in Xi’s convoy, alongside the Komendant SUV, the Senat L700 limousine (the type used by Putin) and the Senat S600 sedan are part of Aurus’ expanding lineup.
