Jeep Unveils New Off-roader, A ₦2.4m e-Bike, Designed To Tackle All Terrains

Jeep, known for its rugged, go-anywhere SUVs, unveils a new off-roader, a two-wheeled e-Bike worth ₦2.4 million.

The Fat Tyre bike is designed to easily tackle variety of off-road terrains, including soft sand, snow, hardpack trails and rocks.

Jeep, known for its rugged, go-anywhere Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV), has become the latest automaker to venture into the world of two-wheeled electric bikes.





The automakers latest vehicle is known as the Jeep e-Bike, a mountain bike developed in cooperation with QuietKat.

It is designed to easily tackle a variety of off-road terrains, including soft sand and snow, as well as hardpack trails and rocks.

Built on an impressive 26″x4.8″ Fat-Tire platform, the Full Suspension off-roader is geared towards exploring the far corners of the earth like never before.





The bike is fitted with Fire-Link suspension system to provides the ultimate traction and capability. Its 4 piston hydraulic disc brakes allow for maximum control on steep descents and hard to navigate terrain.

The Jeep e-Bike comes standard with the industry-leading Ultra-Drive 750 Watt motor. Buyers can upgrade to the 1000 Watt Unrestricted Motor kit. This option packs a powerful 1500 Watts of Peak Performance and 160nm of torque.

The 2020 Jeep e-Bike is priced between $5,899.00 (₦2.2 million) $6,327.00 (₦2.4 million). These prices rises to over ₦3 million, when destination and clearing charges are added.

US legendary automaker isn’t the only automotive company that is trying to make more money from the bike market.

Mercedes also makes off-roading bikes and one of several models it offers was recently purchased by Nigerian music star, Davido.
