King of Morocco is known for picking his guests at the airport in his open-top Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman.

King Abdullah II of Jordan and Pres. Buhari had shared a ride with King Mohammed in his Mercedes 600 Pullman.

Pullman 600 is a long-wheelbase version of W100 Mercedes 600, and the equivalent of today’s flagship S-Class sedan.

King Mohammed VI of Morocco, who has been in power since 1999, is known for picking his guests at the airport in his open-top Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman, before taking them on royal motorcade.

King Abdullah II of Jordan and Nigeria’s president Muhammadu Buhari are two of few guests that had shared a ride with King Mohammed VI in his Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman Landaulet.

Unlike most of his guests, Pope Francis rode parallel to the King’s open-top Mercedes-Benz in his famous bulletproof white Pope Mobile during his visit to the North African country in 2019.

King Mohammed VI is a real lover of luxurious and fast cars, some of which includes a Rolls-Royce Dawn, Mercedes G63 AMG Class, Bentley Continental Flying Spur, Aston Martin Vanquish Volante and a Range Rover.

But the most standout of King Mohammed VI of Morocco’s car collection isn’t a fast car but his vintage open-top 1970s Mercedes-Benz 600 Pullman.

Launched in 1963 at the Frankfurt motor show, the Pullman 600 is essentially the long-wheelbase version of the W100 Mercedes 600, and the equivalent of today’s top-of-the-range S-Class sedan.

The six-seater stretch limousine was 6,240 mm (245.7 in) long and came in closed and open-top (Landaulet) versions with its wheelbase measuring 3,900 mm (153.5 in).

Powering the Mercedes Pullman is naturally aspirated, 6,3-liter V8, which produces 250-horsepower and 510 Nm, allowing the 2.6 tonne car to reach a top speed of 125 mph (207 km/h) and a 0-60 mph (100 km/h) in less than 10 seconds.
