Lamborghini And The Italian Police Celebrate 20 Years Of Collaboration

Automobili Lamborghini and the Italian ‘Polizia di Stato’ are proudly commemorating 20 years of partnership, which began in 2004 with the delivery of a Lamborghini Gallardo. This collaboration has enabled the Italian State Police to utilize a selection of high-performance vehicles essential for patrolling and emergency medical services. These vehicles have successfully executed over 200 organ transport missions across Italy, significantly aiding in saving lives. Furthermore, they have engaged in more than 1,500 road safety educational initiatives to foster a culture of safe driving.

A total of six vehicles have joined the Italian State Police fleet over 20 years, each with specific features and advanced technologies designed to support safe and emergency operations and create a partnership rich in stories and significant events.

The collaboration began in 2004 when Automobili Lamborghini delivered the first Gallardo 510-4 to the Italian State Police, delivering the first organ transport in September of that year.
