Lamborghini Hints At A Possible RWD Temerario
A rear-wheel-drive Lamborghini Temerario seems to be possible as new information from the Italian manufacturer has surfaced. Speaking to British CAR magazine at the recent Goodwood Festival of Speed, Lamborghini’s technical director, Rouven Mohr, hinted at a rear-wheel-drive Temerario.
“I’m not saying that in the future you couldn’t see a road-going version of this car with two-wheel drive, and then maybe a different kind of hybridization,” Mohr said.
Currently, the Temerario is only offered as a hybrid with four-wheel drive. It has a centrally mounted V8 engine and three electric motors. In theory, Lamborghini could ditch the front electric motors, leaving just the V8 petrol and a single electric motor in the rear.
Such a car could still be very powerful – the V8 engine alone has 800 horsepower.
Although More hasn’t officially confirmed anything, it would be a surprise if a rear-wheel-drive Temerario doesn’t make an appearance.
