Lexus and JAOS displays customized GX 550 “OVERTRAIL” JAOS version at the Tokyo Auto Salon 2024.

Lexus GX 550 “OVERTRAIL” JAOS version is a collaborative concept model, customized by both companies.

The JAOS kits elevated every aspect of the Lexus GX 550 “OVERTRAIL” from its authentic off-road appearance to its dynamic performance. 

The GX 550 “OVERTRAIL” JAOS version is based on the latest-generation GX, which arrived last year as the “The Premium Off-Roader”. 

Also exhibited is LX 600 “OFFROAD” TEAM JAOS 2023 version that completed the 2,110 km course of 2023 BAJA 1000.

Japanese off-roading tuning specialist, JAOS Corporation, and Toyota luxury brand, Lexus, exhibited a GX 550 “OVERTRAIL” JAOS version at this year’s 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon held from January 12th (Friday) to 14th (Sunday) at the JAOS booth.

The showcased GX 550 “OVERTRAIL” JAOS version is a collaborative concept model, customized by both companies that share the vision of the OVERTRAIL PROJECT.

“Through collaboration vehicles such as the GX 550 “OVERTRAIL” JAOS version, our goal is to continue showcasing the pleasure of vehicle customization, with the aim of offering our customers increasingly enriching car life experiences.”

JAOS kits, which elevated every aspect of the Lexus GX 550 “OVERTRAIL” from its authentic off-road appearance to its dynamic performance, includes Front Bumper Guard, Skid Plate, Mud Guard and a 18-inch wheels wrapped in 275/70R18 “Open Country” all-terrain tyres from Toyo.

The GX 550 “OVERTRAIL” JAOS version is based on the latest-generation GX, which arrived last year as the “The Premium Off-Roader” and promises exhilarating experiences in a variety of scenarios, from rugged off-road terrain to urban city streets.

Also exhibited at the 2-day 2024 Tokyo Auto Salon is the LX 600 “OFFROAD” TEAM JAOS 2023 version, which successfully completed the entire approximately 2,110 km course of the 2023 BAJA 1000.
