2023 Mercedes-AMG ONE Hypercar is a 1,049-Horsepower street-legal 2-seat Formula One car.

ONE uses the same 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 as Mercedes’ multiple-championship-winning F1 cars.

AMG One will do 0-62mph in 2.9secs, 0-124mph in 7.0secs, 0-186mph in 15.6secs and a top speed of 219mph.

Mercedes-AMG One has six different drive mods, including Race Safe, Race, EV, Race Plus, Strat 2, and Individual.

Only 275 units of the Mercedes-AMG ONE Hypercar will be built, all of which are spoken for at a cost of $2.72 million each.

The production 2023 Mercedes-AMG ONE will make its public debut at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

The much-anticipated Mercedes-AMG One hypercar is finally entering production five years after the prototype was first unveiled and three years after it was initially supposed to go into production.

The two-seater super sports car brings the world’s most modern and efficient Formula 1 hybrid drive technology from the race track to the road for the first time. It will rival the likes of the Aston Martin Valkyrie and the Gordon Murray T.50.

This E Performance branded road racer boasts a whopping 1,049 horsepower (782 kW / 1,063 PS) from its combination of the V6 engine and four electric motors.

The One uses the same 1.6-liter turbocharged V6 as Mercedes’ multiple-championship-winning F1 cars. The reveal, earlier planned for 2019, has been pushed back several times as experts at Mercedes-AMG High Performance Powertrains struggled to make an F1 powertrain work in a road legal car.

“With the Mercedes-AMG One, we have more than pushed the boundaries. The immense technical challenges of making a modern Formula 1 powertrain suitable for everyday use on the road have undoubtedly pushed us to our limits,” said Philipp Schiemer, chairman of the management board for Mercedes-AMG.

“Many may have thought, during the development period, that the project was impossible to implement. However, the teams in Affalterbach and Great Britain never gave up and believed in themselves. I have the greatest respect for all the participants and I am proud of this teamwork.”

The 1.6-litre V6 hybrid petrol engine with electrically assisted single-turbocharging corresponds in its technology to the current Formula 1 power unit. The high-revving power unit is boosted by a high-tech turbocharger.

There are six different drive mods, including Race Safe, Race, EV (all-electric driving), Race Plus (race track only), Strat 2 (race track only), and Individual.

Mercedes-AMG says the ONE will hit 62 mph from a stop in 2.9 seconds, 0-124mph in 7.0secs, 0-186mph in 15.6secs and reach 124 mph in 7.0 seconds, going on to a top speed of 219 mph.

Inside, it has F1-style steering wheel, two racing-style seats, two USB ports, two free-standing 10-inch displays for the digital instrument cluster and infotainment touchscreen, climate vents, and a digital rearview mirror showing real-time footage from the Mirror Cam.

Only 275 units of the AMG One will be built, all of which are spoken for at a cost of $2.72 million each. The production 2023 Mercedes-AMG ONE will make its public debut at the 2022 Goodwood Festival of Speed, as part of AMG’s 55th birthday celebrations.
