Mercedes Benz S-Class Wins Luxury Car Of The Year Award

Mercedes Benz S-Class was announced as the Luxury Car Of The Year at the 2019 Edition of the Nigerian Auto Journalists Association (NAJA) Auto Awards.

Awards were given in different categories during the event. They include the Car-Of-The-Year, Luxury Car of the Year, Heavy Duty Truck of The Year, Auto Plant of the Year. Others are CEO Of The Year, Auto Personality Of The Year, CSR Company Of The Year,  Showroom of the Year and many others.

The S-Class is a series of full-size luxury sedans and limousines. It introduced many of the company’s latest innovations.  Also, it has ranked as the world’s best-selling luxury sedan. Its latest generation, the W222 S-Class, premiered in 2013.

The 2019 NAJA Auto Award ceremony had the theme “EV IN Nigeria: What Hope for The Future.

Dignitaries in attendance at the event include the representatives of the Director-General of the National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), Aliyu Jelani; the representative of the Corp Marshal of the Federal Roads Safety Corps (FRSC), as well as Chief Executive Officers and other stakeholders in the nation’s automotive sector.
