The ongoing training/ capacity development programmes was put together by NADDC to abridge the gap between skilled and unskilled auto technicians through continuous technical and vocational education training.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the (5) days training programme held at Federal College of Education Technical Gombe on 12th November 2021, the Director General NADDC, Mr Jelani Aliyu MFR said the intervention programme is aimed at developing the capacities of repair and maintenance of tricycles and motorcycles by auto mechanics, electricians and other auxiliary service providers in Nigeria.

“Let me use this occasion to express our appreciation to our training partner (SIMBA Group) for extending their hands of fellowship to collaborate with the Council any time they are called upon”.

In the same vein, the SIMBA Group northern co- ordinator Mr Kamlesh Pitale in his goodwill message was full of appreciation to NADDC for the opportunity and platform to contribute in training young Nigerians on repairs and maintenance of SIMBA products.

He also charged the trainees to take the message and knowledge of what they learnt, make use of it and pass it on the communities.
