In this state, repeated attacks on government security forces (GSF) installations in recent times. This include the attack on Iboko Divisional Police station in Izzi LGA, Onicha Divisional Police HQ in Onicha LGA, and the clashes with GSF operatives in Onueke, Ezza South LGA raise risk levels for business travel in the state.
In areas like Effium community in Ohaukwu LGA, heightened insecurity levels have led the government to declare curfew recently.
Travelers are advised to familiarize themselves with any travel restrictions in place before commencing movement.
There have also been several recorded communal clashes within the state, and this may affect business travel in urban areas to considerable levels.
Business travel may be supported by additional layers of security to reduce risk exposure to manageable levels.
