A Kuwaiti tuning company specializing in taking classic offroading machines into high-end vehicles has upgraded a 70s/80’s model Toyota FJ45 Land Cruiser pickup into a breathing truck.
This truck, dubbed the Titanium Kuwait Project FJ45, might still spot the distinct retro-inspired boxy looks of the FJ45, but a peak inside feels, smells and drives like an all-new Land Cruiser pickup truck.
The upgraded Toyota FJ45 is typically a brand new vehicle, as it has undergone a comprehensive rebuild both on the outside and the inside.
It now features modern day tech and luxury, the type you will find in today’s vehicle.
This includes a new set of wheels and offroading tyres as well as new front and rear lights on the outside. Inside, it packs new seats and a GPS unit, a good device that helps in case you get lost during offroading adventure.
Powering the truck is GM’s 6.0 liter V8 LS2 engine, first introduced in the 2005 Chevrolet Corvette C6, Chevrolet SSR and the Pontiac GTO. This engine was produced by General Motors for use in performance vehicles and sports cars.
The FJ45 was a long-wheelbase, four-wheel-drive pickup and wagon version of the 40-Series Toyota Land Cruiser. It was available in two-door hardtop, three-door hardtop, four-door station wagon and two-door pickup models.
