Photo Comparison : Facelifted 2027 Mercedes-Benz S-Class VS Versus 2021 Mercedes-Benz S-Class

The updated Mercedes-Benz S-Class has been released, nearly six years after the German automaker’s current W223-series flagship sedan debuted in September 2020.

Photos shared shows the side-by-side comparison between the new 2027 Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the pre-facelifted model.

On the exterior, the updated S‑Class gets an illuminated grille, now enlarged by around 20 per cent and accented with redesigned, three-dimensional chrome stars.

Grille is now 20 per cent larger and illuminated for the very first time. It also gets new twin-star next-gen DIGITAL LIGHT headlamps and an optionally illuminated Mercedes star bonnet-ornament.

Inside, the MBUX Superscreen now combines a 12.3-inch instrument display, a 14.4-inch central display and the 12.3-inch passenger display as a single piece.

Rear cabin is transformed into a fully connected workplace with two 13.1-inch rear entertainment touchscreens with inbuilt cameras for video conferencing.

In all, the refreshed flagship sedan has more than 50 percent of its parts (around 2,700 components) new – the biggest refresh in the history of the S-Class.
