Expansion of the Body, Assembly and Logistics Area are on to make the production of NEUE KLASSE electric cars possible.
BMW has also began the construction of the new Battery Module Production Center at plant San Luis Potosi.





The BMW Group Plant San Luis Potosi in Mexico, which started operations in 2019, currently produces the BMW 3 Series Sedan, 2 Series Coupé and the M2, making it the fourth plant to produce high-performance M vehicles.





In addition to expansions of the Body, Assembly and Logistics Area, which will make the production of NEUE KLASSE electric cars possible, BMW has also began the construction of the new Battery Module Production Center at plant San Luis Potosi.






The Neue Klasse will be produced in BMW Group plant in San Luis Potosi from 2027 onwards. Around 3,700 employees currently produce the 3 Series, 2 Series and the BMW M2 models for the global market.
