A Toyota Hilux pickup truck, a tried-and-tested “workhorse”, has been filmed giving a commercial tricycle, popularly known here as Keke Marwa and Keke NAPEP, a lift on the Nigerian road.
Thanks to its advanced chassis and bodywork, the Toyota Hilux pickup truck is known not only for its off-roading performances but also for its load-carrying capabilities.


Depending on the variant, the Hilux has a load-carrying capacities between 835 kg and 1,000 kg, which are still higher than the kerb weight of Keke that ranges between 337 kg and 380 kg.
The Toyota Hilux sits atop the class of pickups. With its large and strong cargo deck, the new Toyota Hilux pickup truck can easily handle heavy loads and carry up to 1 tonne (1,000 kilograms) of cargo.
