Check Out Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo ‘Rear Bicycle Carrier’ That Can Be Installed In 1-minute
Porsche reveals a rear bicycle carrier for the Taycan Cross Turismo station wagon that can be installed in 1-minute.
The wagon was introduced for the 2021 model year and it is essentially a Taycan car with longer roof, and more cargo space.
Unlike the Porsche Taycan sedan, the Cross Turismo station wagon has larger battery pack.
It can also be equipped with an Off-Road Design package.

The Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo combines the high-performance of the company’s electrifying Taycan luxury sedan with the stylish practicality of a station wagon.
The station wagon, introduced by Porsche for the 2021 model year, is essentially a Taycan car with unique body panels, a longer roof, and more interior and cargo space.

Despite its enlarged rear luggage compartment and even more spacious interior, the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo will still find it difficult to transport bigger loads like your bicycle.
To answer the needs of its customers, Porsche designed a lockable, foldaway rear bicycle rack for two bicycles or eBikes that can be installed on the wagon in one minute.

Porsche revealed a short clip of its installation, showing how the rear bicycle rack can be fixed to the vehicle easily through two fastening tubes, ensuring fast fitting with no tools required.
The damped folding mechanism on the rear bicycle rack will also enable the tailgate to be opened without problem, even when there are bikes on the the rear bicycle rack.

Again, the low weight and packing dimensions of the rear bicycle rack also ensures maximum convenience for carrying and transporting.
Unlike the Taycan sedan, the Cross Turismo is only available with all-wheel drive and a larger battery pack. It can also be equipped with an Off-Road Design package that adds special wheels and other visual enhancements.
The range-topping Porsche Turbo S Cross Turismo estate starts at £139,910, compared to the £70,690 for the entry model sedan.
