Production Of Audi Concept C: Electric Successor To TT And R8

Audi recently sent a bold signal with the Concept C. The Audi Concept C introduced a new design and served as a precursor to a new sporty model. We now know more about that.
At the beginning of September, Audi parked a concept car on the IAA show floor that served a multi-purpose purpose. The Audi Concept C offered a glimpse into future Audi design but also served as a preview of a model that will actually go into production. Audi reiterated that last point briefly, but it doesn’t stop there. Audi says that the production version of the Concept C will be a coupé-convertible, just like that concept car. And yes, the steel folding or sliding roof is back!
We don’t yet know what the production version of the Audi Concept C will be called. However, this electric coupe-convertible will bear a striking resemblance to its conceptual predecessor. Audi previously stated that the production version and the Concept C will be virtually indistinguishable from a distance of about 50 meters. To reinforce this, Audi has released a series of photos of a Concept C with (German) license plates. The front, in particular, looks a bit unusual, as Audi has placed a short German license plate in the Concept C’s face.
In terms of dimensions, the 4.52-meter-long Concept C falls between the latest TT and the R8. Both models are no longer in production. This means that, in a sense, the duo is succeeded by a single model.
