Queen Elizabeth’s 20-year-old Range Rover with 120,000 miles on the odometer sells for $237k – over ten times its typical market value.
Created by Land Rover SVO, 2006 Range Rover delivered new and exclusively used by Her Majesty between 2006 and 2008.
It boasts special modifications, including rear grab handles to aid entry and exit and a silver dog badge on its bonnet.
2006 Range Rover SUVs with fewer miles are available for between £9,000 and £16,000 on the open market.


A 20-year-old Range Rover Supercharged SUV that once belonged to late Queen Elizabeth II has has sold for a new record price at the highly anticipated Collectors’ Car Sale auction during the Silverstone Festival.
Delivered new and exclusively used by Her Majesty between 2006 and 2008, the 2006 Land Rover Range Rover Supercharged sold for £175,500 ($237,000) inclusive of auction fees – which is over ten times its typical market value.

Created by Land Rover Special Vehicle Operations (SVO), this vehicle boasts special modifications, including rear grab handles to aid entry and exit, a bespoke dog guard and a silver dog badge on its bonnet.
This remarkable Range Rover, equipped with the Jaguar-derived 4.2-litre Supercharged V8, has covered just under 120,000 miles and remains in exemplary condition throughout.


“Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s personal Range Rover combines automotive excellence with an unmatched historical significance,” said Rob Hubbard, the Managing Director of Iconic Auctioneers.
“Vehicles with such distinguished provenance rarely enter the market, making this an exceptional opportunity for collectors and enthusiasts alike,” Iconic Auctioneers boss added.
Before the sales, Iconic Auctioneers estimated that the Queen’s Range Rover could achieve between £50,000 and £70,000 – though 2006 Range Rover with fewer miles are available for between £9,000 and £16,000 on the open market.
