Grammy award-winning musician Wyclef Jean launches his Tesla-killing Electric supercar, the Attucks Apex AP0.

With a weight of just 1200 kg (2,650 lbs), the all-electric supercar is dubbed the “lightest-ever electric supercar.”

It’s hair-raising electric performance includes its ability to reach 0-60 mph in just 2.3 seconds and top out at 190 mph.

APO packs head-turning features, including scissor doors, corner-set LEDs, racing seats and a yoke-style racing steering wheel.

Grammy award-winning musician Wyclef Jean has launched his first car, a Tesla-killing all-electric supercar known as the Attucks Apex AP0 that will be built by his new automotive company, Attucks Futures and Technology.

Unveiled last week at this year’s Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance in Florida, the UK-designed, American-made Apex AP0 was created in collaboration between Wyclef’s Attucks Futures and Technology and Apex Motors.

With a weight of just 1200 kg (around 2,650 pounds), the all-electric supercar is dubbed the “lightest-ever electric supercar.” For comparison, Rimac’s $2.2 million Refrigerator EV weighs nearly twice the Apex AP0 at 2300 kg (5,070 pounds).

To promote his car, the former Fugees member also created a song to highlight some of his hair-raising electric performance, including his ability to reach 0-60 in just 2.3 seconds and top out at 190 mph.

“Attucks Apex AP0, the lightest-ever electric Supercar, has officially launched in the US! Meet the UK-designed and USA-built EV Supercar, acceleration from 0-60 mph in 2.3 seconds., my dream car!”, Wyclef tweets reads.

APO packs head-turning features, including scissor doors and corner-set LEDs and the interior features such as racing seats with four-point harnesses and a yoke-style racing steering wheel.

Power comes from a rear electric motor with 650 horsepower and 580 Nm (428 pound-feet) of torque as well as a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.

Starting at around $350,000, the company said that drivers will be able to buy the APO electric supercar in the winter of 2024.
