Stellantis Announced Investments In The US

Stellantis announces that it will invest $406 million in three plants in the US to prepare the ground for the production of electric vehicles. The company will invest $235.5 million in the Sterling Heights facility, which will produce the Ram 1500 REV electric pickup truck, with sales planned for the end of the year.
An additional $98.6 million will be allocated by Stellantis for the production of the electrified Jeep Wagoneer in Warren, which they intend to introduce by the end of 2025.
The Dundee engine plant will receive just over $73 million to be adapted to assemble, weld and test batteries for the STLA Frame car platform and to machine the front and rear lights for the STLA Large car platform.
The company plans to invest over 50 billion euros in electrifying Europe’s entire range of passenger cars over the next ten years. The amount should also cover the development of electric versions of half of the models of passenger cars and pickup trucks that it puts on the American market, and that by the end of the decade.
