Super Eagles Star Ahmed Musa’s filling station in Kano, MYCA-7, reduces petrol price to N580/litre.

Former Leicester City Star opened his petrol station in Giginyu in Kano State back in October 2017.

This move by Musa comes days after the NNPCL increased the price of petrol pump from N540 to N617/litre.

MYCA-7, a filling station owned by Nigerian professional footballer, Ahmed Musa, has announced the reduction of price of petrol from N620 to N580 per litre to give succour to motorists in Kano State.

Ahmed Musa disclosed this today through his verified Twitter page. Musa wrote:

“Fuel ⛽️ #580 @MYCA-7 Filling Station Kano 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️,”.

As expected, the news sparked excitement among Nigerians, forcing a user, Scala @lakaas123 to enquire “How manage Alhaji? N580 in Kano when not in Lagos? Are you whining us?”.

Replying to Scala @lakaas123’s question, Musa said : “That is what me I decide to sell my own 🤷‍♂️.”





Musa, known for his posting photos of his luxury cars on his social media platforms, opened his MYCA-7 petrol station in Giginyu in Kano State back in October 2017.

Following its launch, the delighted former Leicester City star posted photos himself filling up tank for motorists who had come to fill up their tanks.

This move by Musa to reduce the price of petrol at his filling station comes days after the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) increased the price of petrol pump from N540/litre to N617/litre.

Before the removal of fuel subsidy on May 29, by President Bola Tinubu, Premium Motor Spirit, popularly known as petrol, sold for between N197 and N230 across the country.
