Tesla Cybertruck Production Stops Temporarily At Its Texas Factory

Published

on

Tesla temporarily halted Cybertruck production at its Austin, Texas factory and sent employees home. According to an internal message, employees will have Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday off this week. He is expected to return to work on Friday.

It is not clear what is behind the suspension of production, but it caused dissatisfaction among workers who were hoping for additional earnings in December through overtime work. When I started at Tesla, I could expect to be paid for overtime. Now I feel happy if I reach 40 hours,” one worker said.

Already after the presentation, there was great hype around this vehicle, and two million orders were even recorded. But the market for the Cybertruck seems to have deflated now. Right now, it’s possible to get your hands on a large electric pickup quickly if you order it through Tesla’s website in the United States.

Tesla did not directly comment on the reason for the temporary suspension of production. It is not known whether this is due to logistical difficulties, lower demand, or something else.
