Today’s photos : Lagos on display at The Lord Mayor’s show in London, UK.



Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Saturday November 11th, led the contingent of Lagos State to show case the Nigerian city as a destination to explore for tourism, and other investments at the Lord Mayor show in London, UK.
The London Lord Mayor’s show is believed to be the oldest, longest, and least rehearsed civic procession in the world. This year’s edition is the first time an African city will be showcased in over 800 years.



This well-loved ancient show of London’s independence is a combination of medieval festival pageantry and modern-day celebration of strength and diversity.
Also in attendance are are Honourable Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture Mrs Toke Benson-Awoyinka and the Special Adviser on Tourism, Arts and Culture Mr. Idris Aregbe.
