Toyota Land Cruiser-based “Modellista Overland Vision Concept” With “Armored Body” Turn Heads At 2024 SEMA Show
Toyota Land Cruiser 250-based “Modellista Overland Vision Concept” was one of the biggest crowd-pullers at 2024 SEMA.
One-Off concept boasts an “Armored” exterior to protect damage from obstacles and scratches while driving on rough roads.
Other upgrades includes a redesigned front bumper with LED running lights, roof-carrier and a 18-inch matte bronze wheels.
Displayed alongside the “Modellista Overland Vision Concept” are 4Runner TRD Surf Concept and the ‘Ultimate Tailgate Tundra’.
Toyota’s customization division, Modellista, brought a one-off ultra-rugged take of the latest-generation Toyota Land Cruiser “250” to this year’s 2024 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) in Las Vegas.
Dubbed the “Modellista Overland Vision Concept”, the one-off creation was one of the biggest crowd-pullers on display at 2024 SEMA, thanks to the numerous add-on packages from Modellista.
Unlike the base Land Cruiser 250 Series, the “Modellista Overland Vision Concept” boasts an “Armored” exterior to protect damage from obstacles and scratches while driving on rough roads.
Other upgrades includes a redesigned front bumper with LED running lights, skid plate-like aluminum panels, Side-carrying container, roof-carrier and a 18-inch matte bronze wheels.
“This is a new approach for us, that combines sophisticated design with functionality for off-roading, which are focused on U.S. customer’s needs and recent U.S. off-road customizing trends.”
“This vehicle has a mission to explore the potential of MODELLISTA brand at U.S. market, and the decision will depend on reaction at the SEMA, but we’re planning to incorporate these design elements to our lineup for U.S. in the future”.
Other one-off creations displayed alongside the “Modellista Overland Vision Concept” at the Toyota stand includes the 2-door roofless 4Runner TRD Surf Concept and the ‘Ultimate Tailgate Tundra’, which pops out five (5) 55-inch screens at the push of a button.
