A brand-new Mercedes-Benz G-Class-based BRABUS 800 Adventure XLP ultra-luxury pickup truck was spotted cruising on a Lagos road, just days after a Nigerian car dealership announced the arrival of the ultra-exclusive, limited-to-50 example at its showroom.

At an estimated MSRP of $820,000–$980,000—or more than ₦2.5 billion, reportedly, to own one in Nigeria—the BRABUS 800 Adventure XLP is not only one of the world’s most powerful and off-road-capable pickups, but also one of the most exclusive and expensive.

Spotted cruising through the city’s upscale neighborhoods by a keen-eyed car spotter, the high-end pickup truck is based on the high-performance Mercedes-AMG G 63 (W 465) SUV.

To create this super pickup, BRABUS extended the wheelbase and added a custom carbon-fiber body, LED roof lights, and a tailor-made pickup bed.

The high-riding, high-performance BRABUS 800 Adventure XLP rides on 24-inch forged BRABUS Monoblock ZM wheels wrapped in 325/45 R24 all-terrain tyres.

Additionally, it features a carbon-fiber radiator grille frame with an illuminated BRABUS logo, adding another sporty accent to its imposing exterior.

The ultimate go-anywhere is powered by Mercedes-AMG G63’s 4.0-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine, which churns out the power of 800 horses and and a maximum torque of 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft).

From rest, this all-wheel-drive supercar with pickup bed can sprints to a speed of 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 4.8 seconds, and a top-speed that is electronically limited to 210 km/h (130 mph)—due to its high center of gravity.
