Volkswagen Gives A Tease Of The Facelifted Golf As It Celebrates 50 Years
The Volkswagen Golf will be 50 years old next year, and that will, in any case, be celebrated with a new chapter for the current one. We now get to see a bit of facelifted Golf.
To be fair, it’s a bit of a stretch after the meal, but Volkswagen is already hinting at the facelifted Golf. Why mustard after meals? Well, we saw the refreshed Golf almost uncamouflaged about a month ago. In a video in which Volkswagen looks back on the past year, CEO Thomas Schäfer briefly shows the Golf at the end, which confirms a suspicion.
The updated Golf has, among other things, adjusted lighting, and this is now clearly visible because the lights are all on. All yes, including the continuous LED bar between the headlights and the lighting in the logo. Soon, you will no longer be able to ignore the fact that a Volkswagen Golf is coming your way in the dark. We will see it all up close sometime in the new year; the unveiling will probably already be in the first quarter.
