Mercedes-Benz Unveils One-Off, World’s Most Luxurious Unimog To Mark 80 Years Of The All-Terrain Truck
Mercedes-Benz Trucks unveils one-off, world’s most luxurious Unimog to mark 80 years of the all-terrain truck.
Created in collaboration with Hellgeth Engineering, the show car is based on the off-road-capable Unimog U 4023.
SUV-inspired exterior features matte grey finish, distinctive lighting design and a digital MirrorCam system.
Inside, it gets high-grade leather surfaces, ergonomic seats with colored stitching, leather floor mats, and LED lighting.


Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks has unveiled a one-off, world’s most powerful and most luxurious off-road Unimog to date, as part of activities to mark the 80th anniversary of the all-terrain truck next year.
Created in collaboration with conversion partner Hellgeth Engineering, the show car is based on the highly off-road-capable Unimog U 4023 designed for the toughest civilian and military applications.





The Unimog’s SUV-inspired exterior features matte grey paintwork, distinctive lighting design with modern LED headlights, aluminum beadlock wheels, and a digital MirrorCam system, which replaces traditional mirrors.
Inside, it gets high-grade leather surfaces, ergonomic seats with colored stitching, leather floor mats, and LED lighting emphasize – all highlighting the vehicle’s premium character.
Power comes from Mercedes-Benz OM 936 six-cylinder engine with 220 kW (300 hp), which replaces the base vehicle’s four-cylinder engine.



The show car is a fulfillment of long-standing wish of many international Unimog customers. For a possible future development stage, Mercedes-Benz Trucks said that the vehicle will be tested by a customer in real-world conditions next year.

This Unimog is a statement of innovation and passion,” said Franziska Cusumano, the CEO of Mercedes-Benz Special Trucks.
